Ring of Hope Grand Opening in The Colony

in Inside the Company, News

The UR Hope Foundation had the privilege of joining the City of The Colony in an official ribbon cutting ceremony for our Ring of Hope Boxing Club – The Colony on July 8. The gym was filled with local families, business leaders and club supporters! It was a wonderful moment as our second boxing club was officially opened.

The Ring of Hope Boxing Club was started in 2010 to provide a place for youth to build physical and spiritual discipline, and to get mentoring support that gives them a HOPE for a better future. Each week, youth are offered exercise, boxing coaching from professional trainers, and life skills coaching in a safe and encouraging environment. Through building relationships and Bible study, youth learn of their incredible value in the eyes of God. Some ROHBC teens compete in local, state, and national boxing championship matches.
